It’s hot. It’s loud. It’s wall-to-wall nostalgia, and we’re rolling up to Harefest with cans in hand, ready to party like it’s 1983.
This 3-night, 21+ throwdown is the ultimate tribute to the legends of classic rock. Think: the soaring vocals of Journey, the drama of Fleetwood Mac, and enough Def Leppard drum fills to summon the ghost of your mom’s Camaro. And yeah, we’re bringing THC to the party.
Cycling Frog is proud to be hopping along on our Summer of Music tour, and Harefest is a perfect stop: a high-octane mix of music, community, and laser light shows so intense even your leg warmers will feel it. So throw up those metal horns, grab a seltzer, and come find us in Canby, Oregon.
Harefest: From Parking Lot to Party Kingdom
Harefest didn’t start as a full-blown rock fantasy. It began in a humble saloon parking lot, with a few tribute bands and a dream, and somehow morphed into a 6,000-attendee rager that feels more like adult summer camp with better hair and louder amps.
Over three days, the quiet little town of Canby (AKA Canbyland in some circles) becomes a glitter-soaked wonderland of guitar solos, breakfast buffets, and big hair energy. There’s onsite camping, a cashless wristband system, food trucks for your late-night cravings, and yes, a full lineup of Cycling Frog THC Seltzers to keep your vibes frosty.
Each night ends with the Laser Gator light show—a retina-blasting, fog-machine-fueled spectacle that would make David Lee Roth shed a single tear of joy. Hit the mock stage for your glam shot, get a throwback ‘do courtesy of the Paul Mitchell School, and bask in the glorious lack of bad vibes (zero tolerance, baby. It’s on the wristband).
Canby is found just south of Oregon City by the river. During Harefest, it transforms. Think: hometown pride meets arena-tour chaos. You bring the air guitar, and we’ll bring the bubbles.
Frogs, Feathers & Face-Melters
With 24 tribute bands shredding across two stages (Main Stage and Hippie Hollow) Harefest’s lineup is stacked tighter than a tour bus in 1987. Whether you're a headbanger, power ballad belter, or disco diva in disguise, there’s something here to sing-scream about.
This year brings the heat with high-voltage performances from top-tier acts like:
- Stone in Love (Journey) — Catch their final Harefest performance and cry-scream through “Faithfully” one last time.
- Petty Fever (Tom Petty) — For when you need to sway, sob, and sway some more.
- Best of Both Worlds (Van Halen) — Spandex-clad chaos with solos that could start fires.
- Barracuda (Heart) — Iconic vocals, power stances, and maximum drama.
- Grand Royale (Beastie Boys) — For those about to rap-rock, we salute you.
- Band After Midnight (ABBA) — The dancing queens have entered the chat.
From the glitter of ABBA to the leather of KISS and the eyeliner of Iron Maiden, this is so much more than nostalgia. Think high-fidelity cosplay with actual talent. These bands don’t just cover the legends, they become them, down to the falsettos, footwork, and fringe jackets.
So whether you’re here to howl at the moon or harmonize with strangers, prepare to get your face melted in the best way possible. And if you spot a frog in the crowd? He’s probably dancing. Come join him.
Local Love & Partnerships
Harefest isn’t some faceless corporate fest—it’s a grassroots celebration built by the community, for the community. Founded by a local drummer turned promoter, the entire event is powered by regional talent and repeat campers who treat it like a second home (just with more glitter and fewer rules).
Most of the bands hail from Oregon and Washington, and we’re proud to say the same. Cycling Frog is technically local too. Our hemp is grown right here in the PNW, and we’re all about supporting the weird, the wonderful, and the wildly talented in our own backyard.
That’s why this partnership hits different. Harefest is a living, screaming love letter to the region’s music scene, packed with familiar faces, small-town charm, and massive sound. We’re honored to pour alongside these legends (and their tribute counterparts), one chilled seltzer at a time.
So come say hey. Support local bands. Sip local cannabis. And keep the Canbyland magic rolling strong.
Where to Sip the Seltz
Need a break from belting your lungs out to “Livin’ on a Prayer”? We got you. Cycling Frog THC Seltzers will be flowing all weekend long. Full-sized cans available at concessions, and we’ll be slingin’ free samples at our booth on Friday and Saturday only—so don’t sleep on it. (Sunday is for sleeping in, rehydrating, and whispering “no regrets” at your tent ceiling. Who are we to interrupt that?)
We’ll be pouring free samples of the same flavors you’ll find at the bar: Black Currant, Wild Cherry, and Lemon Light. Just a little tease to help you find your favorite... and if you fall in love, you can grab a full-size can at concessions and make it official.
Whether you're chasing citrus bubbles or just need to cool off mid-drum solo, our seltzers are here to hydrate (wink) while you vibe responsibly. Stop by, crack a cold one, and grab a flavor or two to fuel your next air guitar battle.
Important stuff to remember:
- Harefest is strictly 21+
- The entire event runs on a cashless wristband system.
- Load it up ahead of time so you’re not stuck in line while your favorite tribute act hits the chorus
- Sip slow, stay hydrated, and take breaks between bangers (trust us, you’ll want to remember this)
Outro: Rock Hard, Chill Harder
Three nights. Two stages. One unforgettable weekend. Harefest is where big hair, bigger vocals, and THC bubbles collide. Needless to say, we’re beyond stoked to be part of the madness.
Whether you’re camping in Canby, front row at Hippie Hollow, or vibing under the lasers with a cold seltzer in hand, make sure you tag us in your best glam shots on Instagram and TikTok: #CyclingFrog and #Harefest. Bonus points for face paint, fringe jackets, or frog sightings.
P.S. Harefest’s just one stop on the wild ride. We’ve got more festivals, more flavors, and more chaos queued up all summer long. Keep tabs on our Summer of Music page for exclusive drops, playlists, and whatever weird tour shenanigans we cook up next. Spoiler: it’s gonna be loud.
